New Database Items
Our Mexican version has database updates! We have added over 200 new food and drink items have to the generic database such as Chocolate, Blanco, Salsa Valentina and Sushi. Portion images have been incorporated into the database to guide users when selecting their portions.
New Specialist Database
Our new Children’s McCance and Widdowson 7th Edition (2021) is now avaliable! We have adpated the database from our McCance and Widdowson 7th Edition (2021) generic database. These adaptations include removing non-child-friendly items such as alcohol and coffee as well as replacing adult facing portions with household measures and/or portion images more appropriate for children.
The Children’s McCance and Widdowson 7th Edition (2021) database contains 3,267 items.
New Database Language
The Swiss Database is now available in the myfood24 French language version. The Base de données suisse des valeurs nutritives database contains 1,092 items with 39 nutrient values.
Overstamped Nutrients
The USDA Generic and Branded databases have been updated with 26 newly overstamped nutrient variables. The overstamping process helps to infill nutrient gaps, or “blanks” found in these 26 nutrients. Therefore, providing a more complete nutrient profile for our US customers.
The overstamped nutrients include:
